I’m Peggy, the owner of this blog. I have no professional training in home decorating, I love beautful things and putting them together in different ways. Over the years I feel I have made wise investments in some antiques and I think I have the ability to recognize good detail and lines. I also like the eclectic look, a mixture of the old and the new. Accessories make a room in my opinion. Finally, if it isn’t fun you have missed a great part of decorating your home!

Unless otherwise noted, all the photos are pictures of spaces in my town home. It is fine to use any of these photos on your own blog; feel free to do so. Remember to link it to this blog and give the photographer credit. And if you wouldn’t mind, please let me know… it would make my day to see it!

I love the blog! For someone like me…30 something, 2 small children, and in a very small house with limited space, the decorating tips are perfect. I don’t have an “eye” for decor. Most of my home is filled with coffee table books, picture frames (tons of picture frames), lamps, candles and dusty artificial plants. BORING! What other items can I use or should I be looking for to give the house a more elegant and tasteful appearance?

I love your blog too. Every thought about dispensing decorating advice? I can put together a decent outfit at least 75% of the time, but can’t come up with a decorating scheme at all. I just repainted my living room, put on some new slipcovers, and there are my walls. Bare as can be. My decorating skills and taste are close to zero lol.

I’m so glad you have included a photo. You look like someone I would enjoy having a cup of tea with while discussing antiques. I so enjoy seeing your decorating tips.

Peggy, I love your blog. Any chance you are near Charleston, SC? I would hire you in a skinny minute!
